Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
