An additional two individuals are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to law enforcement.
A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.
These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.
Police detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.
Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
